My name is Braxton Horn, and I am a piano tuner, a keyboardist, vocalist, & actor from Monroe, GA. I graduated with a Magnum Cum Laude degree in Commercial Music at Anderson University, with voice as my primary instrument.
My interests are tuning pianos and performing as a vocalist, a keyboardist, and an actor onstage. I am classically trained on the piano, and I play keyboard in the Virtual Adrenaline Productions House Band. Throughout my whole life, I am proud to say that I have had many opportunities to perform onstage both as a vocalist, and in musical plays. I received most of my vocal training in both collegiate and professional settings.
Some of my music performance experiences include Uncommon Time (acapella group), member of both the Georgia Young Men’s Ensemble, and the Grammy-Nominated Gwinnett Young Singers. I competed in the GA High School Literary Competition, both as a soloist and in quartet. I was also privileged to participate in two masterworks performances of Mozart’s “Requiem”, and a combination of Vivaldi’s “Gloria”, “The Awakening”, and as a soloist in “Tshotsholoza”. Throughout my time at Anderson University, I have been a member of the AU Choir, the Concert Choir, and 4 Commercial Music bands as a singer and keyboardist. I have also had the honor of singing the National Anthem at two Bassmaster Elite Series fishing tournaments. Another honor I had was being a two-time selected soloist in the AU President’s Gala. My performance of “Come Sail Away” by STYX during the AU President’s Gala, was televised on South Carolina Educational Television in 2019.
